Prerequisites
Prerequisites for entry into the program include the following knowledge and experience:
1. Two or more years of hands-on experience with Office Communications Server 2007: installing, configuring, and troubleshooting (or equivalent experience).
2. Practical, hands-on experience with Microsoft Lync Server 2010: installing, configuring, and troubleshooting all workloads in multiple deployment scenarios.
3. A thorough understanding of Microsoft Lync Server 2010 design and architecture.
4. A thorough understanding of Active Directory directory service , Domain Name System (DNS), traditional telephony concepts, VoIP, and other core network services related to Lync Server.
5. Ability to speak and write fluent English.
6. Successful completion of the following certifications:
Exam 70-638: TS: Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007, Configuring
Exam 70-664: TS: Microsoft Lync Server 2010, Configuring
Exam 70-665: PRO: Microsoft Lync Server 2010, Administrator
And one of the following:
Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) on Windows Server 2003
or
successful completion of two of the following exams, as indicated:
Exam 70-294: Planning, Implementing, and Maintaining a Windows Server 2003 Active Directory Infrastructure
or
Exam 70-640: TS: Windows Server 2008 Active Directory, Configuration
or
Exam 83-640 (retired) and Exam 70-297: Designing a Windows Server 2003 Active Directory and Network Infrastructure
